DOESN’T TURN ON

If an electric stove does not ignite, first check if the stove power cord is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are on. You should check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in and the pilot light is lit, it means another part will have to be repaired. The reason for the issue could be an infinite switch, surface element, igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner that doesn’t heat doesn’t do much. An oven does not heat when there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. Your burner won’t turn on when an element is broken or when the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We know how to repair these problems in under 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always should have a hot oven. But not too hot! If the heat is too hot, it might be because of a broken sensor or thermostat. Our appliance technicians can diagnose the cause of the problem and then fix it. Be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of body burns from the very high and unpredictable heat.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is times where an igniter will glow but won’t light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We can determine if we are able to repair these appliance parts or if we will have to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning models of ovens sometimes experience door issues often. The door won’t open after the oven cleans itself. We monitor the door latch, seal and thermostat to figure out why the door does not open up and then complete the repair in order to resolve the issue.
